Gillian Chung

Is a Hong Kong-based actress and singer. She is best known as a member of the Cantopop group Twins, alongside Charlene Choi.

Gillian Chung was born in Hong Kong with her original Chinese birth name Chung Dik-saan . It was later changed since the character Dik (?) was believed to be too strong.[5] So her family gave her the new name Chung Ka-lai (???).[5] Since then, her birth certificate has always referred to that name.[5] Her Chinese name Chung Yan-tung is a stage name that was advised by her manager Mani Fok via consulting with fortune tellers. The name was supposed to enhance her business abilities. She was given the English name Gillian when she was in high-school.
